Each year, DirectBuy uses a number of criteria to select the top showroom for customer service – The Service Center of the Year.  At the 2006 Sales & Service Conference in Phoenix, DirectBuy of Ottawa was honored with The Service Center of the Year Award, and DirectBuy of Toronto North was named the runner up for this distinction.

One of the benchmarks DirectBuy uses to determine performance in customer service is a survey conducted by one of the nation's premier market research companies, Leo J. Shapiro & Associates. At the 2006 Sales & Service Conference, DirectBuy also honored the top rated customer service showrooms from the Shapiro survey - DirectBuy of Baltimore North and DirectBuy of Houston North.
